Reset Flow for Posture: Preventing the Desk Body
Friday April 24, 2026 8:00am - 9:15am MST
Hours spent at a desk often lead to rounded shoulders, inhibited glutes, tight hips, and forward head posture—the “desk body.” These patterns not only create discomfort but also affect energy, focus, and long-term spinal health.

In this guided class, participants will move through a functional reset flow that blends yoga, Pilates, and corrective exercise. We’ll wake up the glutes and core, release chronically tight hip flexors and chest muscles, and strengthen the posterior chain to restore balance. Using mindful breathwork alongside targeted movement, this practice re-educates the body to sit taller, move smarter, and feel more energized.

This session is accessible to all levels and particularly valuable for yoga teachers, professionals, and anyone who spends time at a computer or behind a desk. Participants will leave feeling aligned, open, and equipped with practical movements they can incorporate into daily life to reset their posture and prevent injury.

Accessible Ashtanga - its about progress not perfection
Friday April 24, 2026 8:00am - 9:30am MST
Experience mind-body meditation using The Tristhana Method, a central practice in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. This holistic approach emphasizes the integration of three key elements: breath (Ujjayi Pranayama), posture (Asana), and gaze (Drishti). This method aims to cultivate a deep, meditative state by uniting these three aspects of practice, leading to a profound mind-body connection and spiritual awakening.

Breath control helps regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and create a rhythm for physical movements. The Tristhana Method emphasizes proper alignment within each posture, ensuring stability and the engagement of the inner body/subtle body (bandhas). Drishti is the specific point of focus for the eyes during each asana, which helps to stabilize the mind and deepen the experience of pratyahara or one-pointed focus and concentration.

By consciously coordinating these three elements, the practitioners gain outer strength and inner equanimity.

The Science of Stillness- Finding Calm in a World of Motion
Friday April 24, 2026 3:30pm - 4:30pm MST
In a culture that prizes productivity and constant motion, stillness can feel elusive—or even uncomfortable. Yet both yoga philosophy and modern neuroscience affirm that stillness is not passive. It is an active state that restores balance to the nervous system, replenishes energy, and allows clarity and creativity to emerge.

This session explores the profound impact of stillness on the body, mind, and spirit. Through the lens of neuroscience, we will look at what happens in the brain and nervous system when we pause, rest, and turn inward. Drawing on yogic teachings, we will remember that stillness is a practice of returning home to ourselves, reconnecting with presence and inner wisdom.

Participants will be guided through experiential practices that make stillness accessible in daily life: breath awareness, micro-meditations, and gentle pauses that can be integrated into even the busiest schedule. Along the way, we will reflect on the barriers that keep us in motion and discover how small shifts toward stillness can transform stress into spaciousness.

You will leave with both a renewed appreciation for stillness and a toolkit of simple practices to ground, restore, and reconnect. Stillness becomes not just a practice on the mat, but a science-backed pathway to resilience and joy.

Stillness as Medicine: Yoga Nidra and Ancestral Ways of Knowing
Friday April 24, 2026 7:00pm - 8:00pm MST
In a world of constant stimulation and urgency, the nervous system often remains in a state of heightened alert. This session invites participants into deep rest through a yoga nidra practice that integrates breath awareness, guided imagery, and storytelling. Drawing from her background as a board-certified music therapist and her lived Indigenous lineage as a member of Cochiti Pueblo, Kate Herrera Jenkins offers rest as both medicine and remembrance.

Story is woven gently throughout the practice as a regulating and integrative force, honoring Indigenous traditions where story serves to orient, teach, and restore balance. You will be guided through accessible practices and prolonged stillness designed to support safety and nervous system regulation. Rather than bypassing experience, the session emphasizes presence, listening, and connection—allowing the body to process and integrate without effort or performance.

Designed for yoga practitioners, teachers, and wellness professionals, this offering bridges science and soul. You will leave with a deeper understanding of breath as regulation, story as integration, and stillness as resilience, along with practical tools you can incorporate into personal practice or professional settings.

Voices of Compassion: A Talking Circle of Connection
Saturday April 25, 2026 5:30pm - 6:45pm MST
In this experiential offering, we gather in circle — a timeless practice of equality and presence — to honor the power of listening (śravaṇa), not for the sake of being heard, but to truly seek understanding. This sacred shift — from the desire to be understood toward the intention to understand — opens a doorway to karuṇā (compassion) and sangha (community). Together, we create a container where trust (śraddhā) and presence can flourish.

The circle begins in silence, followed by an introduction to the theme of compassion and connection, including the obstacles that often prevent us from fully embodying these qualities. With the support of a talking stick passed hand to hand, participants are invited to share their reflections in turn, free of judgment, advice, or interruption. Each voice is honored, each story stands alone, and each contribution is received in collective presence — an expression of true satsang (gathering in truth).

Eva Maurice, spiritual counselor and enlightenment educator, has been guiding talking circles for over 16 years. She holds deep respect for this tradition and invites both seasoned practitioners and first-time participants to enter the circle with openness and reverence. We close with meditative silence, sealing the experience in gratitude and unity. Participants leave with a renewed sense of compassion, belonging, and the embodied wisdom that listening is itself an act of love.

Yoga as Remembering: Indigenous Perspectives on Embodied Healing
Sunday April 26, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am MST
Yoga, at its core, is a practice of remembering—remembering who we are beneath habit, trauma, and disconnection. Drawing from her lived experience as a member of Cochiti Pueblo, Kate invites participants into an embodied exploration of yoga as relationship rather than performance. This session offers accessible asana, breath work, and guided reflection, grounded in an Indigenous worldview that honors balance, listening, and responsibility to self and community.

Participants will experience movement and stillness as pathways to nervous system regulation and integration, with storytelling woven throughout as a form of medicine and meaning-making. Kate shares how ancestral wisdom and modern yoga philosophy naturally align through shared values of presence, reverence, and connection—without appropriation or romanticization. The practice emphasizes intuitive pacing, and space for personal insight.

Designed for both yoga practitioners and teachers, this session offers practical tools alongside deeper reflection. Attendees will leave with a renewed understanding of yoga as a living practice—one that supports healing, ethical leadership, and authentic service in a complex, modern world.

The Power of Thought: Crafting a Personal Mantra for Daily Life
Sunday April 26, 2026 10:30am - 12:00pm MST
We live in a constant swirl of thoughts, many of them critical, repetitive, or unhelpful. Left unchecked, these patterns can shape our inner state in ways that drain energy, cloud clarity, and limit possibility. Both yoga philosophy and modern neuroscience affirm what ancient sages intuited long ago: our thoughts matter. They influence our emotions, our physiology, and ultimately, our actions in the world.

This workshop is an exploration of the power of intentionally chosen thought. Participants will be guided through a process of reflection, awareness, and gentle reframing to uncover the thought patterns that most often drive their daily lives. With this awareness, we will turn toward the yogic tradition of mantra and the modern science of neuroplasticity to craft a personal mantra—an anchor for presence, resilience, and alignment.

The session will weave together teaching, journaling, and embodied practice. Through guided meditation, breath, and simple repetition, participants will learn how to “charge” their mantra and integrate it into both their spiritual practice and everyday life.

You will leave not only with a mantra designed uniquely for you, but also with a deeper understanding of the link between thought, feeling, and action—and a practical tool you can return to in moments of stress, transition, or self-doubt.
