Authentic tantra is the living legacy of an ancient tradition that viewed life and the world as a sacred gift of the Divine. These sages dedicated their lives to seducing the forces of nature—the manifest world of matter and energy, as well as the subtle world of consciousness—and discovering tools and means of unimaginable potency, capable of granting us lasting fulfillment and the experience of the Divine within. This is the source of the Sri Sukta.

The Sri Sukta is an ancient cluster of sixteen Vedic mantras dedicated to the Divine Mother Sri. Embraced as a master practice within the tantric tradition, these awakened mantras unfold as a sacred dialogue between Jatavedas Agni, the omniscient, sacred fire, and the seer. Together, they invoke the forces of abundance, nourishment, and lasting fulfillment to walk into our lives.

In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore essential principles of tantric philosophy through an introduction to the mantras of the Sri Sukta. While we’ll touch on the overarching themes of all sixteen mantras, our focus will center on the ninth mantra, which embodies the indomitable power of will and the healing potential of the Divine. Participants will learn traditional call-and-response pronunciation of this mantra and engage in a guided recitation of the complete Sri Sukta, deepening both understanding and practice.
